Thank you for visiting. Let me tell you a bit about me, the artist behind HKH Studios.

I am a mixed media artist that works primarily with oil and cold wax on artist panel and reclaimed wood. I would define my work somewhere between Surrealist and Magic Realism, powered by my crazy imagination and passion for color, minute detail, and the building up and removal of layers. I’m curious about life as a human and one’s ability to choose growth over stagnancy. I love frogs and all things flora and fauna, my husband’s popcorn, and adventure off the beaten path. And I believe in the power of love and connection and the importance of play, while being authentic and telling our stories. I happily live with my husband and our dog, Moo, in Excelsior, MN.
